Lucy was born into an artistic family in 1974 in Yorkshire. Although she started her artist career as a portrait painter, her love of still life art has developed over the years.

She was elected a member of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters in 2011 and serves as a council member for the society. Lucy was included in the Mall Galleries prestigious "Pure Gold" exhibition, celebrating 50 years of the Federation of British Artists.

Lime Tree Gallery has represented Lucy since 2014 in both Bristol and Long Melford and in art fairs across the UK, New York City, Hong Kong, Stockholm and Singapore.

Lucy's work focuses on intricate detail and capturing beauty, natural light and form. She aims to reflect a serene and uplifting feeling within her compositions, and really capture a moment in time.

She has taken part in many group exhibitions including the Royal Institute of Oil Painters exhibition (from 2006 to present year), The Royal Society of Portrait Painters, and the Society of Women Artists. Her work is in private collections both nationally and internationally.
