Rose Strang

After completing an honours degree in Fine Art at Chichester University in 1997, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Museum and Gallery Curation at St Andrew’s University in 2000, Rose Strang worked as an arts curator and artist until 2012 when she began to focus solely on painting.

As curator and lead artist she worked on public art projects in Scotland and the West Midlands, including a two-year project for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham and as Lead Artist for Glasgow’s NHS building development at Leverndale Hospital.

Rose's work has been shown in galleries around the UK, including public galleries such as the Royal Scottish Academy and City Art Centre in Edinburgh. Her work has also been exhibited in galleries in Berlin and Corte Real, Portugal.
