Born and raised in Madrid, Yara graduated as Bachelor of Fine Arts, Specialty Painting, from Complutense University of Madrid, in 2002.

Demonstrating first class painterly skills, she is equally at home painting landscapes, people and still life. Her works are often questioning and have a very distinctive perspective.
