a powerful exhibition of new work by Sam Cartman, John Evans and Barry Kelly. These three artists with contrasting styles, are nevertheless complementary. This is largely an exhibition of landscape painting. John Evans paints mainly urban cityscapes, often around Bristol. Sam Cartman portrays the uplands of Southern Scotland and Northern England. New to the gallery, Barry Kelly paints the gentler landscapes of Southern and South Western England. As is always the case at Lime Tree Gallery, this is painting of genuine skill and technique.
