Sept 7th 2019Lime Tree Gallery specialises in representing Scottish artists known for the painterly use of colour and light. During the first exhibition of the autumn, a group of distinguished Members of The Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour (RSW) have been invited to exhibit a selection of their work. The RSW has a pedigree dating from its foundation in 1876. Many of Scotland’s most notable artists, including Academicians, have been RSWs. . Lime Tree Gallery is showing work by a selection of invited current RSWs, covering a wide range of subject matter, styles and media by Michael G Clark, Aine Divine, Michael Durning, Claire Harrigan, John Kingsley, Mhairi McGregor, Ann Oram, David Smith and Gregor Smith.
