Olga was born in Solikamsk in the Urals in 1976. She attended the Art College in Nizhny Tagil and graduated from the Painting and Graphics Faculty.

Since 1997 she has exhibited her work both in Russia and abroad. Her paintings are in collections in Poland, Latvia, Belgiums and Britain, as well as her native Russia. She is currently living and working in St Petersburg.
Although she sometimes uses watercolours, Olga prefers to work in oils. Her subjects are various, ranging from landscape to still life. All show her atmospheric, fanciful style. She rejoices in the vivid colours of her subjects, as well as the enhanced spectrum supplied by her imagination. Her palette dances with light and reflections.

As well as being so much the product of her imagination, her technique is methodical. The paintings are carefully built up using layer upon layer of oil paint, giving a depth and richness of colour and composition, with a sensually textured surface.

She will normally work on several paintings simultaneously, moving from one to another, to allow each layer to dry appropriately before adding more paint or working the surface.
