Pam Carter was born in Tanganyika, East Africa in 1952 to an Austrian mother and a Scottish father. She graduated from Glasgow School of Art in the 1970’s.

Pam has exhibited at numerous solo exhibitions over the years throughout the UK and in the USA. Her paintings have featured in many group art shows including the Royal Scottish Academy, Visual Arts Scotland, the Paisley Art Institute and the Royal Glasgow Institute.

She won the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Award at the Royal Glasgow Institute in 1996 and 2 years later was awarded First Prize at the Paisley Institute. Pam’s work has been selected for the Laing Calendar.

Now recognised for her landscape work, Pam’s work is instantly recognisable and she has become extremely collectable.
